Is there no chance of implants when bone mass is minimal?

Q. My mother’s dentist has informed her that there is not enough bone in her mouth to have implants. Is there nothing that can be done to make this procedure possible, or even an alternative treatment? She has only a few teeth remaining.
A.

If patients do not have enough bone, then there is still the option of having a bone graft to build up the bone. There is more info on this website regarding bone grafts.
