Lost most of my teeth, is there a limit as to how many teeth can be implanted?

Q.
I have lost most of my teeth through gum disease and from drinking heavy metal water in Mongolia. My gums now healthy
Is there a limit to the amount of teeth that can be implanted? I need 10 or more. I have upper and lower plates at moment and these are ok but not wonderful and I could maybe do without upper if I get 5-5 teeth impants

My main concerns are the costs and the longevity of the implants and the time that I will need to heal the implants

Any information on the costs and the medical aspects would be welcomed

A.
As a general rule we don’t replace each tooth with a single implant. We normally use 4-6 implants to hold 10 teeth as a bridge. This brings the cost down and also makes treatment more simple as most patients do not have enough bone for individual teeth. Its difficult to give you an idea of costs without seeing you but as a guide a full arch fixed upper bridge will cost around £12,500
