Q. My bone grafting surgery i needed has failed! my mouth is all swollen and my face is a mess. What are my options now? i had his surgery so i could have dental implants but it doesn\’t look like i can now. I have a severe infection and gum disease is still apparent. what can i do? please help!,
A. Hi. Sorry to hear that your bone graft has been unsuccesful. You need to discuss the situation with your dentist and come up with a plan going forward. If you have an infection and gum disease then this really should be taken care of first before proceeding any further with dental implant treatment.
