My bridge is coming to the end of its lifespan. What are my options to have it replaced before it breaks?

Q. I have a 10 year old bridge which I have been happy with. However I understand this is about the lifespan of a bridge and as it for three front teeth I am dreading it breaking and being without teeth until a replacement can be made. What alternatives are available to me. Also I have been unable to get my teeth whitened as they would then not match the bridge. Can you have implants without having to be without teeth for a while,
A. Ten years is just a guide you may get another 5 to 10 years out of your bridge yet, as long as you see your dentist for regular checkups I would leave it alone. If you was to decide to replace the bridge with dental implants you would at no time be left without any teeth, there would always be somthing temporary there.
