Q. Hi, I underwent a dental implant procedure approx 3 years ago. It was a single implant Upper right central. I had the extraction and the implant placed. This is where my treatment stopped due to funds. The implant has been in there now for 3+ years and im yet to return to have abutment fitted and they procedure completed. (currently partial plate denture) Can I go to another implant specialist to complete the work and can they find out the brand/type of implant I currently have. Many thanks,
A. Its best to find out from your existing dentist what make and size implant has been used and let your new dentist know what component they need to order to complete the treatment.
