Q. I have a decaying (possibly dead) lower molar with subgingival decay. My dentist has explained a root canal may fail and a surgeon has told me that taking out the tooth once root filled to then attempt an implant is more complex. In cases with subgingival decay of a lower molar what are your views on root canal fillings versus implants?,
A. Implants everytime, rust never sleeps and neither does root caries
