Should I get dental implant now or wait?

Q. I have a crown where one of my teeth needed to be removed as there was an infection. Had it for about three years now and it is fine, but I was told that it would last about ten years and then I would be best to get a dental implant. I am just thinking, would I be best getting it now or should I jsut wait. I ask because is it likely that the price will go up for this procedure or there may even be another treatment down the line?
A. I would always advise you that unless there is a clear clinical reason or the tooth/teeth looks unsightly then delay the treatment until it is required. Prices may come down as much as go up and the technology just gets better and better.
