Is £7000 A Reasonable Price For The Treatment I Need?

I have a failed episiotomy on one of my upper front teeth. The one next to it which is also one of my front teeth has an infection above it too, although I have experienced no pain yet. They are both crowned with metal posts. I have had a CT scan which shows bone loss. To have them both replaced with implants using donated bone, I have to have the posts put in with temporary teeth attached for 6 months, then have permanent teeth attached. I am being charged £7000, does this price sound reasonable?

I was horrified at the cost of getting 3/4 implants supporting a bridge. Can you give me an estimate?

I have recently had an examination for 3/4 implants supporting a bridge ; x-rays confirmed that no bone grafting was needed. I have been wearing a denrure for many years. the work would entail removing the present 3 teeth in the upper jaw. I was horrified at te enormous cost involved. I am very conscious of the discolouration of these existing teeth, which restrict my ability to smile. I was told the proceedure could be completed in one day. Could you please give an estimate of your charges please?

The price of getting dental implants for my missing teeth is too high. Can you advise?

Dear Dr Fahey, i have all top teeth missing and I must say that I am extremely embarrased about this situation. I went to see my dentist about getting implants but they wanted me to have brdige implants costing 11k which i thought wasnt too different from wearing a denture because you still have this in your mouth. I was after the type of implant that goes into your gum and there is no plate or anything but the price shot away up to 18k after I told them that this was what I wanted for my teeth. Can you advice me of what i can do please. many thanks

How much is it for implant secured dentures?

I am 53 years old male. I have lost all my lower teeth and I wear a denture. I also have partial upper denture. I have read about mini or midi implants which hold the lower denture. I am not sure about the number of implants required to hold the lower denture and the total cost (approximate will do). I am trying to save for this purpose but I don’t know how much would I approximately need to save. If you need a guinea pig for this purpose, I am a candidate. How painful and costly is the surgery for loose implant?

But would you tell me if I have constante pain since the specialist and the dentist worked out in my implant two and a half years ago and still have pain how painful and costly is the surgery you mention if it is needed?, if I have some kind of infection on the bone?, thanks,

What would be the cost of an implant to replace crown?

Hi I have a crown on one of my font teeth which I had problems with in December in that the tooth underneath snapped off. So my dentist gave me a new crown with a post. However this doesnt seem to be that strong and came out. Even though it has now been cemented back on I think I need an alternative and I am seriously thinking of an implant. Can you give me an idea of the cost?,

Are there any cheaper options to get implants as quotation is too much?

My friends mum had some work done on her teeth in the past and its completely ruined them she is in pain but she is to embaressed to see someone, she has been told to sort them out will cost £31,000 but she can’t afford it. She is really depressed about them and my friend really wants to help her. Is there a cheaper option to get implants, or even will she be able to claim compensation for what she had done in the past?
