I had a bridge done on NHS but can this be replaced with an implant?

January 9th, 2012
Q.
I have just had a bridge fitted, a front tooth, on nhs yesterday. generally speaking, would it be possible to replace it with implant ? As I an an unemployed actor and the bridge affects my speech wonder if would be possible to get this on nhs, or would it have to be private ? Also, is time a factor as gums etc adjust. Thanks and please do not use my email for commercial purposes.,

Would an implant be the best option to replace what is left of diseased tooth?

January 8th, 2012
Q.
My son had a top front tooth damaged in an accident at age 18. He lost about half of it and it was crowned. He is now 23 and the crown is disintegrating. He has been told the tooth is now diseased and will eventually fall out. Should he go for a dental implant immediately to save futher damage and how much is one likely to cost?,

What are the risks associated with gum recession and implants in terms of the bone?

January 8th, 2012
Q.
I need about 5 implants done. I am (only) 38 and know that my gums will recede with ageing. If the gums recede past the implant line then i assume this is a problem and that the implant will need replacing. What are the risks accociated with this in terms of long term structure of the bone etc. How easy is it to replace implants later on if there is excessive gum recession?,

My implants keep failing. What does this mean and what can be done?

January 8th, 2012
Q.
I got dental implants on the top of my mouth 2.5 years ago. Thats how long I have been going through this. I have had 1 fail after another. Right now I think I have 2 failing. Should I keep going through this pain if they are going to keep failing? I just don’t understand why I am having so much trouble. And my dentist says he doesn’t understand either, what does that mean?,

Can you recommend a dentist who deals with Connus Sumallis in the UK?

January 7th, 2012
Q.
Hello, I have a very good female friend who had started her implant work in San Paolo last March 2010. She had the implant done by a specialist there who no longer is available. She lives in Norwich area of England. She can not travel to Brazil due to family issues but is trying to find a dentist who can continue her work urgently. The system used I am told by her is Connus Sumallis. Can you assist pr recomend any one who could. Thank you,

Q.
My left upper incisor is broken with just the root remaining. I am thinking of having an implant. Should I have the root removed first and then wait a few months before having the implant or is there another solution?,
