could you explain to me the difference between implants and mini implants? I am needing a new tooth but hate the thought of having to wait ages as i hear you do with the normal implants.

Can you tell me the general procedure for placing implants into my gums?

I ADMIT I AM IN THE FINAL STAGES OF HAVING MY TOOTH FITTED ON THE IMPLANT BUT WHEN I WENT FOR THE FITTING THE TOOTH WENT WAY UP OVER THE GUM. THE DENTIST SAID IT WAS BECAUSE I HAD BROKEN BONE WHEN I BROKE MY TOOTH AND THAT HE WOULD COAT IT WITH A PINK PORCELAIN i am worried that it wont look nice have you heard of anything like this please?,

Should screws be poking through the gums after a bone graft, what do you advise?

My daughter had bone graft surgery to prepare her receeding bone area for new implants. After four weeks she started to complain of the screws poking through her gums. What is going on? The doctor wants to remove the screws on Monday even though the graphs will probably not have healed. Says major concern of infection with the screws having come through the gums. Have you ever had this experience? How do you recomend we move forward?,

I have a fear of the dentist but have 8 teeth which are in need of crown or implant treatment.

Hello, i have 8 teeth that are badly chip/ basically missing.. I was wondering what the cos and proceadure would be if i decided to go through the implant option.. Is it better to have implant done as same time as old tooth is extracted?

Is it better to have an implant fitted at the same time as the old tooth is extracted? I am having trouble with a tooth which I had root canal work done on several years ago, my dentist says he cannot do anymore with it and I will need an implant. It is causing me pain now but I cannot afford an implant at the moment. So should I have it extracted and save up to have the implant at a later date or borrow the money now to have it done as soon as the tooth is extracted? Thanks you.,

Would an implant work to replace baby tooth when it falls out?

Hi I have one tooth that is still a child tooth that never fell out. Apparently there is no replacement adult tooth behind it to replace it when it does fall out and according to the dentist it will fall out at some stage. How painful and costly is the surgery for loose implant?
