Can I Have My Implant Taken Out and Put Back In?

Hello Dr Glover. I’m just wondering if a loose implant can be placed back in, so the loose implant is really being replaced by the same implant? It started to feel loose just over a month after I had it placed and my dentist said my bone level is fine, but only the tip of the implant is in the bone. I’m not sure if the drilling was done properly but I’m not sure if I can have it replaced with the same implant. What do you think?

The Taste Of Food Is Impaired By My Dentures, Would I Be A Suitable Candidate For Implants?

Hi Andrew. I am 47 years old and over the last two years have lost a number of upper teeth due to gum disease. I have lost two of my front teeth and one of my main front teeth is extremely loose an am sure it will come out soon, I have a partial denture that is uncomfortable and eating is no longer a pleasure as the taste of my food is impaired and does not feel natural. Can dental implants offer me a better solution and which treatment would suit my problem best and what is the treatment cost estimate? I hope you can help me answer these questions as it would be a great help.

How painful and costly is the surgery for loose implant?

Dr Moore, two days ago I asked you about Implants, thanks very much to answer that question. But would you tell me if I have constante pain since the specialist and the dentist worked out in my implant two and a half years ago and still have pain how painful and costly is the surgery you mention if it is needed?, if I have some kind of infection on the bone?, thanks,

Hi Kailesh, I have had seven impants couple of years ago abroad and would want to put in the screws now,but it’s real been difficult for me to do this as kings college and guys hospital would not want to do this for me now,stating that i should have to visit a dentist specialist to access me. so i hereby seek for your assistance and will be grateful. Dentist could not remove cracked implant, what should we do?

folow on re: cracked implant – husbandhas just seen his dentist who could not remove the cracked implant – what should we do – the dentist quite obviously hasn\’t got a clue what he is doing, the bone is heeling well – he siad he might have to \’dig\’ the implant out and has even mentioned bone grafts – as I siad we\’ll worry about negligence claim later but what about my poor husband\’s dentistry!!! # Many thanks,
