If there is swelling and pain around where I have had an implant fitted, does this mean the implant has fallen?

November 6th, 2011
Q.
I’ve just had bone augmentation and a large implant placed that should hold a bridge with 2 teeth on, however 3 weeks on and I have a large swelling and pain above the site which my dentist says is an infection. I feel so miserable about this, I have 2 young children and just feel like all the pain i’ve had from my teeth is taking me away from them. This was supposed to be a straightforward solution but I have lost faith in the process and my dentist. Has my implant failed? I am so miserable. Thank you.,

Can silver be used in an implant verses titanium in order to avoid infection?

November 6th, 2011
Q.
Can silver be used in an inplant verses titanium so that infection would be impossible and therefore the body and mouth mico voltage could be maintained at -20.5 mv. Tooth decay I understand can reduce total body voltage by 65% per tooth endingin an early death. Shifting the metal from titanium to silver I think would eliminate this problem even though silver is not as strong as titanium.,

Can I have a temporary tooth while I wait replacement for extracted tooth?

October 15th, 2011
Q.
I have an infection from a root canal which didnt work and will need to have the tooth removed and an implant or bridge put in. I am very concerned about having a space there after having it pulled and while I wait for the implant. Is it possible to have a temp bridge/implant straight after the tooth has been removed despite the infection? Thanks so much for your help,

I am still experiencing pain after tooth extractions and the placing of two implant holders. Is there something wrong?

September 15th, 2011
Q.
I am still experiencing continued pain after my first visit to a recognised Dr Dentist after some two weeks. He extracted 4 front teeth, put in two implant holders and assures me there is no infection. He was very rough with me, he did some for me before which were no problem. Haven\’t had more than 3 hours sleep per night due to the pain . Is this acceptable? I have been taking all sorts of antibiotics and pain killers. I just feel that something is wrong but he assures that is not the case. I have to give it time. Do I need a second opinion?,
