I have not been to the dentist in years because I am petrified of my dentist. Can you help?

I am absolutely petrified of a dentist consequently have not been for years and my teeth are now loose. I don’t know what to do and am very scared. I know I could not have implants because I just could not cope with it I know that, is there any way if I lost a front tooth I could have a false one without drilling into my bone please? I’m also now ashamed to go to the dentist and it has been so long and my teeth are so bad.

Have I had dentures for too long to be able to get implants?

I was unlucky enough to think I was going under anesthetic to have loads of fillings when I was fifteen. To my horror my parents had been convinced that I needed all my upper teeth removed, which is what I woke to find had happened. so I have had a full denture since then and am now 50! still have a terrible fear of dentists and have not seen one for twenty years through shame as well as fear. have I been with dentures for too long to be able to have implants? or at least implants to secure a better denture? HELP!!!!!!,

Would you agree to do vampire fang implants?

I noticed that you work in the London area and my question is Would you agree to do vampire fang implants I don\’t want anything over the top but fangs with a natural edge that are slightly longer than normal cainine teeth. The problem is that my normal canine teeth are pretty much gone so I would have to have possibly the plate and screw . I am terrified of dentists as had a bad experience that left me traumatised and wonder if u offer sedation as well if you agree to do the procedure. Dentist says I need an operation on my jawbone to prepare for implants. Is this accurate?

my dentist said i need an operation on my jaw bone because there isn\’t enough bone there to hold the implants i need. I\’m a very, very nervous patient and this doesn\’t sound great but i need the implants. What does he mean by the operation? what will it involve and is it really necessary?,

Scared to get implants as sounds like severe treatment but is it?

I am only in my early twenties and all my teeth are crumbling away on me. I really don’t know what is happening to them. I have not been to the dentist for a few years so I guess this could be some reason for it but I am generally scared about getting this kind of treatment. My teeth would need to be removed and then implants put in. This sounds like severe treatment to me Dr Bohara, but if you can shed any light on it then I would be very grateful. Sincerely.,
