Hello, Doctor. I wonder if you could answer a question for me?
I had eight mini implants to support a top bridge with twelve teeth fitted over four years ago. I have broken two crowns and asked a dentist if its possible to remove my (loose)bridge and replace the crowns,he says its not possible. Is this true ?

A. Thanks for your question. Unfortunately without having had a full consultation and review of your previous treatments I can not give any advice about what your currrent or future treatment options are. It may be that additional implants may need to be placed to support larger bridges. Discuss your concerns with your dentist and a treatment plan can be created for you. If your dentist does not do this kind of treatment they should be able to refer you to a colleague who may be able to help. Regards George Glover BDS MSc
