What options do I have for replacing my teeth?

Q. Hi Dr unfortunately I have lost all of my teeth due to severe gum disease. I\’m seeing a hygienist at the moment to heal my gums etc but I need to consider what options I have for replacing my teeth. Have you ever helped someone with such substantial tooth loss before? I need some sort of options i have no idea what I can suggest to my dentist, any help would be great, thanks.,
A. Thanks for your question. Once your gum disease has been treated and oral health is under control then a consultation for dental implants would allow you to explore this treatment. The consultation would involve diagnostic imaging to look at how much bone is available for placement of dental implants or if bone augmentation may be required. Concentrating on getting the gums in a healthy condition would be the first priority. Regards George Glover`
