What should I do in regards to the bone grafting?

Q. It has been suggested for me to have a bone graft from my chin to replace a small amount of bone loss on my fromt tooth. I do have a high lip line. I can opt for placement now and take the risk theat the gum does not receed. I am not sure what to do. My tooth was extracted after an infection and has been out for 6 months. Please help!,
A. A bone graft should produce a more stable implant and prevent any recession resulting in a long tooth or worse, part of the metal implant showing. Although it is a complex procedure it might be best to proceed with your dentists recommendation if there is a chance that either of these 2 things may occur
