What would happen if implant failed?

Q. What would have to be done if my dental implant were to fail. I only just got it and nothing is wrong but I am just starting to go out of my mind thinking about the worst case scenario.
A. Hi thanks for your question.

A lot depends on the reason for failure of the implant, however be reassured that Implant Treatment can be very successful through careful treatment planning and new implant technology.

If an implant fails, most dentists will replace the implant for you as part of the ongoing treatment.  If you are particularly concerned then speak to the dentist or a team member at the practice and I’m sure they will be able to allay your fears.

I hope that this helps.

Kind Regards.
