Q. I have been researching the optuions for missing teeth and must say I am quite suprised at some of the prices. Dental implants in particular seem very expensive to me. What is it that makes them cost so much?
A. good question.
costs are broken down to 3 core elements. cost of materials ie implant costs. time taken to do the treatment and complexity of treatment. cost of the laboratory work.
more costly options should therefore be using the best implants (which tend to be more expensive), taking plenty of time to do the treatment as well as it possibly can be done and using the best technicians.
low cost implants are done using cheap implants/ done as quickly as possible/ with a cheap lab (often not in this country) making the final restoration
