Q. I have had my dental implant for three years but the attached crown seems to come loose every few years or so. My dentist then uses the dental cement stuff to reattach it as he thinks that is the best action. But then it just becomes loose again and I have to go through all the effort of getting it sorted all over again. Is there no other option that is not going to leave me quite out of pocket. Is it because of bad dental work on the dentists half or just unlucky?
A. It sounds like just a component failure. He could try a stronger cement or remake the crown with a screw to hold it more firmly
