Hi, I’m 14, 15 next month and I’m wanting braces. My teeth are not bad, I only have gaps between my top set of teeth (only on the first 4). I’m wanting braces but I’m not sure if the NHS will pay for them or not as it may be classed as cosmetic. If I was to pay for them I was wanting to know how much it would roughly cost, as my teeth are not too bad. Thank you!

Hi, thanks for your question. It would be best for your dentist refer you to a local orthodontic practice for an assessment into the suitability of treatment and whether the NHS will pay for it. You can then proceed from there. Good luck!
