Q. I recently had my UL2 removed, I have decided an implant is probably the way forward, what would be an advisable time before having the implant? & would I still be able to wear my current denture while the implant settles, or would immediate loading be an option for a tooth that doesnt do that much? I am 50 years old non smoker in good health. Thank you.,
A. I usually put the implant in at the same time as the extraction or wait for the bone to heal before placement – 4 to 6 months later
