My tooth was knocked out by my dog in an accident. Implants are too expensive. Can you advise?

September 29th, 2013
Q.

Hello, my dog identically knocked my front tooth out and I’ve been given a denture now after the accident which I really hate. I smile a lot plus recently have become unemployed. I’m in desperate need of a dental implant so could you please let me know of a dentist who does 0% finance options fot the unemployed if possible because this denture is noticeable and has crushed my confidence completely. Please help me with this situation. I live in Southall and I;ve checked all around here and have found that they are over priced and definitely don’t help the unemployed in any shape or form.
Thank you

I have not been to the dentist in years because I am petrified of my dentist. Can you help?

September 29th, 2013
Q.

I am absolutely petrified of a dentist consequently have not been for years and my teeth are now loose. I don’t know what to do and am very scared. I know I could not have implants because I just could not cope with it I know that, is there any way if I lost a front tooth I could have a false one without drilling into my bone please? I’m also now ashamed to go to the dentist and it has been so long and my teeth are so bad.

Many thanks

Is it possible to get orthodontic braces if you have dental implants?

September 29th, 2013
Q.

Can orthodontic braces be used even if the person has dental implants in place of missing teeth? I have two implamts on my top jaw, after losing them due to an accident some time ago. They sit next to my two front teeth, which are what I would like to have corrected as they stick out horribly, drawing unwanted attention and comments all the time and just making my feel very self-conscious about how I look. Although I really want to have them straightened, I also do not want to risk the health of my two implants that have proved good so far, so do you think it is possible to have the Inman aligner without causing any damage? Thanks for your time.

Could I get dental implants as an alternative to my current denture?

September 22nd, 2013
Q.

I am missing my bottom teeth on both sides from my eye teeth with the exception of one wisdom tooth on my left. I am 31 and this has been the case for over 10+ years however, recently i have started to have some real problems with my jaw with painful symptoms and an occassion where almost lock jaw which really scared me and made me anxious. My dentist has given me a denture but I feel too young for this kind of treatment and would like to try something different. Whats the minimum amount of implants i would need to get a bridge?

Is there a possibility of nerve damage if I get implants and a bridge after wearing dentures for twenty years?

September 13th, 2013
Q.

Yello, I am concerned about getting nerve damage in the lower jaw. I hope to have four front teeth replaced by dental implants and a dental bridge but have worn a denture for over twenty years now and the underlying gum and bone has shrunk considerably – what are the chances of damage being done in this instance? I also have bruxism and am worried about the general outcome of such dental treatment. I have had considerable problems with gum disease in the past (the reason for the tooth loss) but have excellent oral hygene levels now and for the last few years. I have no worries on that score, but would appreciate what you have to say on the other matter.
