Can dental implants secure denture?

Q.
I have a denture and have done so for quite some time now. I have never felt all that comfortable with it but over time got used to it enough to get by. Now, I am contemplating getting dental implants as I have read that they can help to keep the dentures firmly in place, which mine has never felt like. How is it that they are able to do this and what would this involve? Also, would I be able to use the same denture?

Okay for dental implants if I grind teeth?

For many years I have been grinding my teeth. It took me some time to get a mouth guard and by then some of my teeth were beyond repair. I had to have 3 removed and there have been gaps in my teeth for three yeas now. I still grind my teeth and this is something I have not been able to stop. If I am to get dental implants would they be okay seen as I do grind my teeth? I will of course wear mouthguard at night.

Should I go for implants or braces first?

Four years ago I had to have a tooth completely removed due to decay and due to the fact that the root canal treatment I had to help fix it only worsened the thing and it had to go.
