Q. My dentist said I now have to wait 6 months for the implant to heal and make sure my body successfully accepts it. This seems a long wait for me! Is this correct? Why does it take so long? When you have a tooth taken out it only takes a few weeks for it to completely heal.,
A. this is not wrong advice i wait 6 months in the upper jaw and 4 months in the lower jaw about 50% of the time implants can be loaded imdiately but only in certain cases
