Can I get dental implants instead of wearing a plate?

ive had one tooth taken out 1 year ago and ive had a plate made with a tooth on it and i went to the dentist the other day and the tooth next to it as got problems and may hav e to hav e it out and ive got to have a tooth out on the other side at the back could i have inplants instead of wearing a plate thank you,
