Can I have a filling done whilst under general anaesthetic?

hi i am 15 years of age and will be 16 this november. my filling came out yesturday and needs to be put back in. i am afraid that when i was a young child i drank many fizzy pops and sweets that has damaged my teeth verry badly. when i was younger i had to have all my baby teeth removed. and because of this i am petrified of thed dentis even taling about it maes me shake and ringe. so would i be able to have general anasthetic when i have a filling done beacsue i cannot go through the pain. thanks. x,

Can a bridge be supported by teeth that have been heavily filled?

I\’m seriously considering a dental bridge but i have deep fillings in the surrounding teeth, can the bridge be supported by those teeth that are in that condition? i would like the bridge to replace 2 missing teeth.,

My teeth are bad and I’m taking various medications, could there be a link?

clean my teeth reg, never had much problems apart from some fillings , started different medications , for depression and anxiety , 4 years ago , i have had 2 back molers break within 1 week , can there be a link to medications,

I’ve been told I can’t have a bridge now! Why is this?

Hi, About 6-8 months ago i had a tooth extracted from the bottom corner of my month. as its near the front i asked my dentist if i could have a bridge when it healed and was told yes. Recently i went back for my 6month check up and was told i couldnt have a bridge as one of the teeth it would attach to has a filling in it. Could you advise me if this is correct as i dont know why i wasnt told this from the start plus its something i really want. Thanks,

I think I may need dental implants, what do you think?

Can I get an implant and what would be the average cost?

Following and abscess, on a filled lower molar, I was referred to Carisbrooke, in Leciester, for root canal treatment. I attended the consultation last night and when the filling was removed it revealed that the tooth was completely split from front to back and so root canal is not a possibility. The teeth either side are healthy and unfilled and so I would not be happy with a bridge. I also do not wat a false tooth and so other than extraction, the only other option is an implant. Assuming I have sufficient bone in the jaw to tap in the titanium ‘peg’, what would be the approximate price for the implant? I currently have a temporary filling and so want to act quickly.
