Can I have a dental implant to replace my fractured tooth?

Q. My doctor said there is a fracture in my back tooth and that it may have to be removed. Would i be able to have an implant do you think? or could the fracture have caused other bone damage? any advice would be excellent,
A. It\’s possible that you would be able to have an implant placed. If the tooth is fracture below the gum level into the root then it\’s unliekly to be restorable. Speak to your dentist about dental implants or make an appointment with someone who provides implants as you may be able to have the implant placed in the bone at the same appointment the tooth is removed. I hope that this helps. Regards
