Q. Hi there I have been told that I will need sinus lifts to accommodate implants in what would be an almost total reconstruction of my upper jaw, but I have extremely sensitive sinuses and suffer almost daily – the ear nose and throat being my weak areas. I think lifts could cause misery for years to come. What is your opinion please? Best wishes, Gilly
A. If you have problems with your sinuses, then personally i would be referring you to ENT surgeon to have an evaluation of your sinuses, initially. This would allow me to be informed if this would be an appropriate procedure for you.
