Can I receive dental implants after just recovering from gum disease?

Q. Hello! I have suffered with bad gum disease for quite a long time now and I\’m gradually recovering from it. My teeth have deteriorated significantly because of this and now I am looking at dental implants. I have 2 questions, firstly how much would it cost to have a full mouth of implants? Secondly would I be suitable for them after just recovering from gum disease?,
A. 1. the cost really depends on how many implants are required, the quality of the implants being used, are you having overdentures or fixed bridges, the quality of the teeth being used, the quality of the cosmetics, do you require bone graft, do you require ct scan. As you can tell there are number of things to go over at the consultation before a cost can be given. Therefore the price can range from £6000 to £20000 for full mouth reconstruction. I would recommend at the consultation you say what your budget is and what your chief complaint and desires are. 2. Yes if all the teeth are removed and good oral hygiene is maintained in the future.
