Q. At the moment I am taking care of an elderly lady. In the past she has had several dental implants which has resulted in no problems, but after having another implant on friday she has been suffering this weekend. She has gradually lost her colour and is still in bed due to lack of energy. She has had a terrible headache and was even up last night being sick. Could the dental implant be infected and causing this? Any help would be appreciated!
A. It is very difficult to say without examining the patient. I would recommend either visiting the dentist or GP.
