Can one dental implant anchor two teeth?

Q. I have been looking into the dental implant for a short while now after discovering two of my teeth would need to be completely removed, and am wondering if one dental implant is able to hold more than one dental implant in place or if this is not recommended. If you do not advise this then could you please tell me why this is so?
A. If the teeth are normal size then you will need 2 implants for 2 teeth. It is possible to use 1 implant for 2 teeth if the teeth missing are very small.
