Hi, I have been told I may need dental implants in 6 months or so and have read steroids may affect the implant success, which type of steroids do this? as I use an asthma inhaler and had to have a small course of anabolic steroid pills to help with a leg ulcer I had last year. A. You may need the steroids topping up prior to treatment but you should ask you dentist and GP before the surgery to place the implant
