Q. How long is it required not to smoke after getting a dental implant? Is gum out of the question to pass the time?
A. hi many thanks for your email, my advice is to try to stop completely. Gum is a very good alternative to smoking. its actually the smoke which is harmful to the implant, not the nicotine.
