Q. How many implants would be needed to support a denture? I am going to have to get a new denture ut want more support for the appliance when I do so and would therefore appreciate any info on the number of implants needed and potential cost. Thank you Dr Glover

The number of imlants used to support a denture varies from case to case. But in some cases can be as little as 2.
Cost wise, again this will vary but is often in the region of £5,000.
You would require to have a consultation with a dentist who will be able to advise your suitablilty for implant treatment.
