How soon after tooth extraction can I receive a dental implant?

Q. How long after tooth extraction can I have a dental implant. If you have time could you please give me an outline in simple terms of what will be involved. After looking on some sites I would say I am dental phobic and am sure I saw that you ahve some experience with this.,
A. You can have a dental implant placed immediately after an extraction if there is no infection present, if infection is present we would usually advise to leave it for approximately 6 weeks. I am a Dental Phobia Certified Dentist so i can offer sedation for your treatment, this will relax you through out the whole procedure. please feel free to contact me for a free consultation.
