Is there an age limit for dental implants?

At what age is it advised that you can get an implant? There must be a cut-off age for children I guess, but my child suffered a bad injury to his face and is need of such treatment. He is ten. Hope to hear from you soon.

Are dental implants possible if gum disease remains?

My dentist has just informed me that I am going to lose all of my teeth because of gum disease. After taking care of my teeth this came as quite a shock. Are dental implants an option to help replace missing teeth or is this not possible with gum disease?

Are there any alternatives to bone grafting?

If a patient is unable to or unwilling to use bone from another part of their body to perform the implant procedure, are there any alternatives available. I need an implant and have been told I need bone grafting but I don’t think I can go through it. The very thought puts me on edge. Are there any alternatives?
