Q. Could you please help me with my decision in the following. I had a crown put in around eight years ago. The dentist has now informed me that it is on its last legs and that I will need recrowning. Or, he said I could have an implant. Which, in your opinion, would be the better option?
A. Its hard to tell without seeing you to assess the crown tooth and bone. However in general if the tooth is on its way out then a full replacement with an implant generally works the best in the long-term.
