Q. hello, i had an unfortunate car accident a couple of weeks ago and chipped my front teeth which happened to be dental implants. What can i do about this? can i get them filled OR will i have to get completely new implants? thank you,
A. Hi. The first question would be have you seen a dentist yet? If you\’ve suffered any trauma this is important to ensure that there is no damage that you can\’t see. If it is just the crowns or bridges that have been chipped then these can be remade for you by the dentist and the laboratory. This will normally involve taking some new impressions. I would strongly recommend getting the implants checked to make sure that they are ok though. Regards. George Glover
