Is it okay to get a dental implant after having a stroke?

Q. My husband is in his early 50s but suffered a stroke under a year ago. He is now on medication in helping him to recover. However, he is considering dental implants but I am unsure whether it is safe considering what he has been through. It seems a bit too risky I think. What would you advise for this situation?
A. hi many thanks for your email, as long as he is recovering well and feeling stronger, the procedure of dental implants is not a massively invasive one. My advice would be to seek the advice of a implantologist to assess your husbands health and give you an idea of risks.
