Does the dentist take x-rays or something to find out whether a patient needs bone grafing or not? If there is not enough bone support available then will I not be able to get imaplnts? Are there any suitable alternatives?

X-ray said I could not get dental implant, but are there any alternatives?

I had an x-ray to see if an implant would be the right choice for me. However, it was found that there was a nerve close to the location where the implant would be placed, and that this may cause some kind of problems. I think it was something to do with a facial nerve or something? Would you be able to offer any advice on this? Is there any way I would be suitable for treatment?

Should I be worried that I can see dental implant poking through gums?

Just over two weeks ago I had a dental implant toward the back of my mouth. Anyway, it began to feel a bit loose, and to my absolute horror and astonishment, when I looked at it this morning I could actually see the implant coming out of my gums. I can only assume it has failed. Should I see my dentist as soon as? It suprisingly doesn’t hurt or look swelled.
