Q. Is it necessary to stop smoking only immediately after the surgical process is complete and tooth has been taken otu and implant put in or will there need to be a certain time before the procedure as well when I can not smoke?
A. hi many thanks for your email, the answer unfortuantley is pretty simple, the smoking can cause the implant to fail so if you can decrease or stop smoking this will help the overall sucess of the implant.
