Is it normal to get bad breath due to dental implant?

Q. I have now had my dental implant in for about a month but have a problem with bad breath now. This is a condition I have never sufferred from before so I can only put two and two together and guess that it is the implant? Is this normal or am I possibly doing something wrong?
A. Bad breath can often be an indication that there is something not quite right in the mouth.
Dental Implants do need to be cared for in a similar way to natural teeth, brushing and flossing etc to ensure good oral health.
I would recommend speaking to the dentist that placed your implants and discussing your concerns.  They will then be able to advise the way forward for aftercare and homecare of your new implant.
