Q. Why is that the dental implant procedure takes so long? I mean, from what I have read it all takes about four months which seems like a rteally long time for some dental work. So, could you tell me why please?
A. The main reason is when the implant is placed into the bone, time has to be given for this to integrate with the bone. This then allows it to be loaded by a crown in the future.
