Can I get implant in empty socket where previous one fell out?

Q. About 15yrs. ago I had a full upper prosthetic denture supposedly supported on 4 implants. One of them was crooked and therefore unuseaable and around 5yrs. ago I started getting infections and eventually one of them fell out.Can a new implant be used in the empty socket and could the useless crooked one be replaced correctly and would this work necessitate a new prosthesis.,
A. 1.You will probably have to use a different socket to the failed implant as the bone will probably have shrunk away. 2. You might be able to use the crooked implant but it depends on the make and system 3. I feel you will almost certainly need a new prosthesis
