Can I have a permanent bridge to replace my missing teeth?

Q. i had two teeth beside each other pulled out last year. I tried a flapper,, i cannot get use to it. Im so self consious of those missing teeth, i try to not smile. I want to know if its possible to have a permanent bridge and can those teeth be used from my flapper, they only have about 3 hours of use on them and they match perfectly.,
A. Hi thanks for your question. A bridge may be an option for you, but it depends on the size of the gap and the teeth either side being strong enough to support the bridge. Dental Implants may be another option for your to consider to replace these missing teeth. It\’s unlikely that any final new restoration would be able to utilise the prosthetic teeth, as the implant restoration or a bridge would normally be made from porcelain for strength. I\’d recommend booking a consultation and the dentist would then be able to go through all your options along with the pros\’ and cons\’ and costs. Regards George Glover
