Dentist says teeth need removing – would implants be a good solution?

Q. Hello Dr Moore and thank you for taking the time to read this. I am two ver sore teeth on my lower jaw that are making it almost impossible to eat and my dentist has said that they will have to be removed. Could you please advise me on what a suitable treatment would be?
A. Once the teeth have been removed you could consider dental implants, a bridge or a denture to replace the missing teeth. As a general rule implants are the best solution as they are fixed in placed without the need to trim down the adjacent teeth.
