Q. Hi just a quick question. How long (on average) would it take me to have a dental implant placed? i have one very damaged front tooth that has to be removed and i really don\’t want to be waiting weeks on end for a dental implant for obvious reasons. Thanks for your time.,
A. Hi. It\’s very hard to say how long it will take without having a full consultation. It is possible in some cases to place an implant and provide a temporary crown on the implant while it is healing into the bone. Other options may be to have a partial denture or temporary bridge while the implant is placed or until such time as the area is ready for an implant. I hope that this helps. Regards George Glover
