Is bone grafting procedure completely safe?

I wanted implant but my dentist has now told me that I am going to need the bone grafting treatment before I can go ahead. I am not all that sure about this treatment. How much will it add to the cost of my already extortionate implants? Also, entirely safe procedure as it sounds ominous to me!

Do steroids affect dental implant success?

Hi, I have been told I may need dental implants in 6 months or so and have read steroids may affect the implant success, which type of steroids do this? as I use an asthma inhaler and had to have a small course of anabolic steroid pills to help with a leg ulcer I had last year.
