Q. I have not been to the dentist in 10 years. This was down to fear which only got worse and worse as time went by, until the thought of going to the dentist made me scared at the thought of what may need doing. I now have horrible teeth. Only three remaining teeth in my upper jaw and five in my bottom, none of which are in very good condition. I need to go to the dentist but this seems like such extensive work. Would you be able to help me?
A. We would be very happy to help you. You might be a good candidate for sedation, this helps anxious patients deal with complex treatment such as extractions or implants.
