Q. My gums have been receding away for some time now and becuase of my fear of the dentist I have been too scared to go to the dentist and get my problem sorted. Now my gums are in a terrible condition and this is affecting my teeth. I have already had several fall out. What would be your advice to help me? Can implants help improve my smile and confidence? A. Yes implants can still be used provided you still have enough bone for the placement of the implants. If the bone has shrunk away you may need bone rebuilding prior to placing your implants. If you would like me to take a look please feel free to contact me at my clinic in Essex
